God Hears Your Prayers
God's desires us to cast all our cares on Him. In Ephesians 6:18 we are told to pray “on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests”. We have the privilege to bring all of our issues to Him in the name of Jesus. With a humble heart we confidently approach His throne of grace with our problems. He is so Merciful. Prayer is simply just talking to God from your heart. There are prayers listed below to help you get started, but first pray the Prayer of Surrender.
Healing Prayer of Surrender
God, I surrender to You everything that I am and everything that I'm striving to be. Forgive me Lord. I open the deepest recesses of my heart and invite Your Holy Spirit to dwell inside of me. I offer You my life, heart, mind, body, soul, and spirit. I surrender to you my past, present, and future problems. I give You control over every aspect of my life. I surrender all my hurt, pain, worry, doubt, fear, and anxiety and I ask You to wash me clean from sin. I release everything to You in the name of Your son Jesus, Amen.

Jesus My Physician
Jesus, divine physician and healer of my sickness and soul, I come to You with my issue. You comfort my troubles, alleviate my worry with Your gentle love, and grant me the grace and strength to see me through. Jesus I place all my concerns in Your hands. I place this issue under Your care and humbly ask that you restore my health again. Give me the grace to wisdom know what to do and that You always love me. I believe You are healing me! Amen.
My Attending Physicians
Jesus, You are in charge of my medical care. I pray that You give all who are caring for me wisdom and revelation as to my proper care. Give the Doctors keen insight into my issues so that they know quickly how to administer the most effective care. I pray all the Nurses, Technicians, and Staff are at their best when I am under their care. You are my absolute healer and I trust You in all aspects of my health. Amen
Heal My Sickness
Jesus, I call upon Your mercy. May Your healing mercy come upon me, may Your life giving powers flow into every cell, organ, vain of my body and into the depths of my soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring me to complete wholeness and strength for Your purposes. Amen.
Quiet My Mind
Jesus, You are my guide, the joy of my heart, the author of my hope, and the object of my love. I come seeking refreshment and peace. Show me Your mercy, relieve my fears, still my anxieties, grant me a quiet mind, and an expectant heart. That by the assurance of Your presence I learn to abide in solely You, my Lord and my God. Amen.
Broken Hearted Prayer
God I need help. There is a pain implanted in my heart that doesn't seem to go away. It has crushed me, it aches, I can no longer bear it. This pain of the past consumes my thoughts daily. It hurts so much, Lord, these tears that fall long to see joy once again. Give me peace in my heart. Hear my prayer in Jesus name. Amen.
Healing Past Wounds
Jesus, in the comfort of Your love, I lay before You the memories that haunt me, the anxieties that perplex me, the despair that frightens me, and my frustration at my inability to think clearly. Help me to discover Your forgiveness in my memories and know Your peace in my distress. Touch me, O Lord, and fill me with Your light and Your hope. Amen.
Cure My Depression
Jesus, I know that when You walked on the earth, You trod upon hard places, You felt the strain of this world and the pressures of mental torment. I ask that You would come besides me now, lead me through this time where my mind cannot cope. Help me to find peace and calming inner thoughts. Hold me safe Lord, I trust You to restore my thoughts to in alignment with You. Amen.
How Do I Talk To God
Prayer is simply talking to God and the most important thing is that God wants you to talk to Him! He loves you and He has promised to hear you when you pray. How can you learn to pray? First, understand why prayer is possible.
Prayer is possible because Jesus Christ has removed the barrier between you and God a barrier caused by our sins. Sin separates us from God and because of that we have no right to come before Him. But by His death on the cross, Christ paid the penalty for our sins and removed the barrier. God then gives us the privilege of coming into His presence when we commit our lives to Christ.
God even hears your prayers when we can’t even put them into words, for example, when your heart is too burdened or confused even to speak. The Bible says, “the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express” Romans 8:26.
One of God’s greatest gifts to you is the privilege of prayer, a privilege that is possible because of what Jesus did for you on the cross. Thank God for the privilege of prayer and learn daily to “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you” 1 Peter 5:7.
Yes, God hears your prayers on all occasions, whether we’re praying out loud or praying silently in our hearts and minds. After all, He knows all about us and knows what is going on inside us.
